Comments: I opted for the Dashtex, figuring it would be easier to keep clean. It was thinner than expected, but the fit was amazing. IF it was weighted, it wouldn't need the velcro strips to hold it in place, I expect. & thin as it is, i wonder if i should back it with some kind of heat-shielding material. I just treated my leather and it wouldn't stick even if I did want to use sticky stickers on my leather dash, lol. On a side knote, it would be really nice to have a molded ridge at the rear of the mat over the radio, to throw my phone up there where I can find it more easily. Yes, there's lots of cubby-holes, but I'd rather not have to go digging through stuff to find it, along with any other item I might want immediate access to, even while busy with traffic. Just a thought, would be pretty nice, although I imagine i could velcro some kind of lil barrier up there. Hmmm....
All in all, I'd recommend this DashDesign Dash Mat to anyone, anytime. VERY nice fit.
Thanks, DashDesign!
